Hello everyone. In our town there is a new and unusual place called the Repair Café. This isn't a traditional café where you get various types of coffee and cake. It is actually a place where you can take your broken household items. In the Repair Café there are volunteers who can teach you how to repair anything from vacuum cleaners to toys. The main idea behind the Repair Café is to make people realize that when something stops working, it can often be fixed. So, when your blender or toaster breaks down, take it to the Repair Café. You will save money and also help the environment!

Man: I'm sorry I'm late.
Woman: Sorry? I've been waiting here for half an hour and all you have to say is sorry!
Man: It's lunch time, it was almost impossible to find a place to park the car. I had to drive around for twenty minutes before I found a free space.
Woman: I know. But I'm very hungry. The waiter has already come up to me twice. I was lucky he didn't tell me to leave and wait outside.
Man: You're right. I'm very sorry. Do we still have time to order something?
Tekst 3
Man: Hi Mandy, welcome to our boutique. My name is Jeff. Please take a seat.
Woman: Thanks, John!
Man: Well, actually, I said I'm Jeff not John. Mandy, could you put your phone away before we start the interview? Just so that you can concentrate.
Woman: Don't worry. I can focus on two tasks at the same time, but of course I'll put my mobile away.
Man: Great, thanks! Why do you want to work here?
Woman: Well, I love clothes and I need some money for my new phone contract. Sorry, I've just received a text. I've got to check it. Oh, it's just from a friend, nothing important, I can reply later.
Man: OK. Now, do you have any customer service experience?
Woman: I used to have a job in a shop that sold sports equipment, but I was only a cashier. I didn't need to talk to customers much. The shop wasn't very busy.
Man: Well, ours gets quite busy, especially at weekends. As a shop assistant you will need to help customers. Do you think you can do that?
Woman: Sure! I prefer texting, but I can talk to people if I have to. However, I didn't think the job would involve regular contact with people. Customers can be so annoying! Sorry George, I've just received another message I need to look at.
Man: Right. I've had enough. During the whole interview you have been busy with your mobile and you can't even remember my name. We won't be able to get on. And a piece of advice. If you try to find a job somewhere else, leave your mobile at home and start listening to people! Goodbye Mandy. There are other candidates waiting.
